ABOUT US
Hydro-Thaw Mobile Ground Defroster
The Hydro-thaw mobile ground thawing units can bring your winter construction site to a work-ready state quickly, efficiently, and safely. Just lay the hose over the area to be thawed and cover with curing blankets. As the 50% propylene glycol (a low-toxicity anti-freeze) heats up, it is pumped through the hose, thawing the ground. The HYDRO-THAW can thaw up to 6,000 sq. ft. of frozen ground, 12 inches deep, per day.*
Self-contained unit provides effective, thawing heat
Prepares sites for winter dirt and concrete work
Protect sites from frost penetration
Thaws isolated, remote locations
Eliminates need for temporary, winter enclosure
*Soil, weather conditions and hose layout will affect frost removal rate.
